    Repost question:
How do they affect articulation or travel? I like the idea of the air bags but not if they reduce wheel travel too much! IE if you go wheelin and you put the air pressure to the minimum do you get full droop and compression?

they do affect articulation because they are connected at the frame and axel, im not sure how much but im sure it could cause issues or damage

My guess is if they're made for a truck I doubt they would get damaged with a truck with stock suspention but I got to think they limit wheel travel so I'm kind of leaning toward a 3AAL instead.

I got them for towing a camper and possibly for when I put any significant weight in the bed. I don't think they are designed to help with off roading.
They may even dampen wheel movement a bit. I feel it drives better on the road with them at about 14lbs. Seems to keep the tires on the road. I don't think I like the stock Dunlop tires myself. Can't put my finger on it but they aren't suited to off road and don't seem to excel on road. Can't justify buying new tires on a new truck....

They helped my '05 GREATLY when off roading...

You can't drive off road very well if every bump bottoms out your suspension.

The air bags go in place of the bump stops and with the correct amount of air stops the bottoming out... for me with a loaded truck, between 25-45 psi... depending on the load.

The Ride Rites were awesome and I could drive a loaded truck easily off road with them.
