I received the Coverking covers for my d-cab. I wasn't impressed, but I had not seen these before so I didn't know what to expect. I know that sometimes its hard to get a perfect color match. I had choosen the black sides with the grey center. The grey did not match the color of my interior, not even close so it looked a bit awkward. The grey of the Coverking looked like it had a grey/yellowish look to it. But, I figured what the hell lets try anyway. So I spent about an hour putting the rear covers on and after it was done it looked, just ok. So I started on the front driver seat. I did the headrest in 2 seconds. Put on the seat back cover, and hit a wall. The lower portion of the cover seatback cover has a cloth flap at the front, and at the rear has a another flap with velcro. These two sections are supposed attached through the crack of the seatback/seat bottom. Problem is the back lower section of my seat has a piece of carpet that is connected to the rear of the seat and blocks anything from being pushed through. I spent some time trying to figure out if I could remove the piece of carpet, but I gave up after 1/2 hour since I couldn't see crap and I wasn't going to remove seat from the truck. There is no way for me to attach the seatback cover at the botton where it would remain secure, and I had the same issue with the seat bottom cover. I tried to figure out how to remove the small piece of carpet protection on the lower back part of the seat, but space is limited and I didn't want to snap or break existing straps that are under the seat. The instructions are useless, and frankly you wouldn't think instructions are needed to put on seat covers. I am confident I ordered the correct ones for my truck and I even spoke to a Coverking rep before I placed the order to make sure.

Bottom line, I said to hell with it, its not worth it and decided to return them to Costco. I figured why not, since I wasn't totally ok with the color anyway. I figured I'd try get all the covers on and then maybe I'd like the look afterward, but just tossed in the towel.

That's why I say black. I get compliments all the time. I have seen the grey and it looks more green.

Hmm just got notification that mine shipped and that I should receive it Wednesday. I ordered the same color combo as you did. Will have to see if I have the same problem with the installation that you described.

I had the same problem. I solved it by pulling the carpet piece away from the seat( its held there by elastic strips connected to the bottom) and pulling the flap through and connecting it to the bar under the seat at the rear with a couple of strips of velcro ( the hook part of the velcro). It works great and keeps the upper part of the sear cover taught.
I do agree that the grey has a yellow tint. Maybe it will fade and look better.

I have a 1st gen but still the same seat covers, I have pics of mine in this thread:
    http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/product-reviews/61763-coverking-neoprene-seat-covers.html

Mine are about 2 years old now, and they've held up very well. I have 2 tears, one in the drivers side where my leatherman on my belt got hung up one day and one on the passenger side where my dog's claw punctured it. They are really easy to clean and I don't have any noticable fading, definitely worth the money.

You just have to be a member. I ordered mine yesterday in solid black so im pretty stoked (total price came out to $173.99 with tax and free shipping!). The great thing about getting them from costco is you can return them and get a full refund if you don't like. I'm sure i won't be doing this though because all of the pics posted look great :D

i'm also looking for pics of the black/charcoal neosupreme (or even neoprene will do). i've heard the grey doesn't match well so it's between the black/charcoal and the black/black. also, if anyone has any reviews of the coverking neosupreme it would be extremely helpful. i see a lot of mentions of them but nothing about the durability/looks?
