Florida has Carmax dealerships. Go to carmax.com and do a search for your Speedway Blue Tacoma. Don't limit your search to Florida. They will ship the truck from anywhere in America to your nearest Carmax dealership. Granted, the fee might be $200 to transfer to that dealership. I used to live in Orlando, that dealership had some nice trucks always on the lot. Good luck with your search.

Yeah, I swore I read that some '06's had the issue as well. They weren't reinforced until 2007, no?? That's why I've been trying to steal clear of the '05s/'06s, and also because my truck is an '04 so I'd like to get something like maybe three years newer, instead of just one or two. -rye

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
Very early 05s have had the mount issue. No 06's that I know of...

plus, it's an easy item to inspect...

You mean the actual cracking? It's obvious 07's and up have the reinforced welds. Would it be wise to invest in an '05/'06 even if there is no signs of cracks? I mean, I would think I'm driving a time bomb or something. They obviously reinforced them for a reason, no? -rye

If I were you, I would not go any lower than an 07. An 07 would most of the time have less miles and more of a warranty period left to fix any problems that you might find with it. Just my 2 cents worth.

I don't think you'll have a problem unless you're going out of your mind crazy wheeling with the thing...

Lots of people have 06s with no issues to date... Lots of people have 05s with no issues to date. It was discovered that EARLY production 05 Tacomas (04 delivery dates) had the problem.

mr.trd thought he had that issue with his '06 but it turned out his truck may have been in an accident prior to him owning it. http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/20548-engine-rocking.html
