I want to get the 7 speaker JBL upgrade when I purchase my Tacoma...do any of you know the regional availability breakdown? Certain features are not available up here in Portland as far as I know of. Do I need to try and buy from a different area or am I S.O.L.? I want to pick up an 07 Dbl Cab Desert sand black prerunner v6 auto trd off road but would really like the stereo upgrade. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

    Sorry, I don't know ...
I assume that you've already talked to your local dealer to find out if you can get the stereo upgrade... (a simple phone call could validate that)

    :pout: That burns me... :der:
Why do that restrict options to certain geographical regions? Why not let all great options be available to all?
Are all tacomas made in the same factory? or are there several factories and each factory has its set of available options and so you gets stuck with the options available at your nearest factory? If so, why not take on the little extra cost of infrustructure to allow the shipping of the truck with the desired options to the buyer and add a few bucks to the destination fee...
I'm barking up the wrong tree so I'll stop.

According to the consumer survey that every state conducts, i don't know if you are aware of this...based on the majority that was used in the survey what type of accessories and styles are more popular in your particular area. also, not all tacoma's are the same unless you order it online from the mnfr. like for example my diva truck. i had researched in my part of town that my truck is one of a kind (i love that :)). so yeah it does irritate people when they can't have the accessories of their choice in the lot but they do strive to come close to it. hopefully it does not sway you from purchasing your truck. i know i did not get what i wanted in my taco but hey i am happy of my diva truck :) check it out on the gallery
