Purchasing a '10 Sport Doublecab Tacoma, what to mod first?!

Hey guys, so I am driving 3 hours to go see a used Tacoma sport edition with black 17" wheels, A/T tires, and a bed cover already. I am allotting myself ~1k in play money to give it a little personable touch. I am trading in my 2008 Ford Escape and I have a really nice sound system & huge subs in the back, so I know I want to do something with the stock stereo and an aftermarket stereo.

So what else do you recommend to get? I was thinking an exhaust system, seat covers, and something that I may not even be aware of that is a great mod for the Tacos. Thanks!

WeatherTech's and good seat covers. I'm to cheap for the Wet Okole's but I got CoverKing neoprene seat covers from Costco and I love them. Maybe some step bars or sliders?

x3 on weathertechs and seat covers. Protect the investment before investing more. Weather techs are around 190 Shipped. Seat covers are a little expensive but if you dont have alot of friends in back much just get the fronts and cover the back bench with a big towel. Thats what im doing.

 

Alright, so far I am probably going with a Pioneer touchscreen HU, the weathertech mats, seat covers...probably getting close to that ~1k now.

I have been looking into exhausts also. I have a Flowmaster 40 dual on my Escape (yes an Escape...doubt you will ever see that hahaha) and it sounds great, but I don't like the performance loss I have been reading about on here.

I haven't heard any good videos of the wicked flow (no videos give a good idea of how deep/throaty it actually sounds due to distortion), so I am kinda up in the air on this one.

Also, the Tacoma has a CAI already, is putting a aFe or K&N worth it?
