That poster was saying the hood looks real but is non-functional, and the pre-runner looks like a 4x4 and but is not. Pretend 4x4 more like it. ;)

My boss drives one just like it. Nice inside, but I can't get over how damn low to the ground it is. My Taco has LOTS more clearance and way better approach angles.

Not a bad truck for th price though. Bet you got a great deal - they can't give those things away right now around here. At least gas is coming down some.

I did. Chevy is giving away $4,000 cash or $1,000 and 0% interest. I'm pretty sure they're giving the dealer something too because they cut down below the figures I have for dealer cost. Yes, I think I got an outstanding deal.

No, it doesn't have the clearance yours does, but if you recall, my reasoning for wanting a 4x4 was mainly because of occasional snow. Here in Georgia, clearance isn't really an issue then. Dealing with ice is the issue.

But I have to tell you, it's a monster. If I didn't have to get my midget wife and midget mother in the thing and if we weren't planning on a few long trips, I'd really have had to work harder on that Tacoma. It's a beautiful truck and was always my first choice. It didn't fill my passenger needs but it filled MY needs just great!

Thats how all 2wd Tacomas should have looked like. 5 lugs with those tiny wheel and tires look disproportional to the rest of the truck imo, no offence to anyone.:crapstorm:
