How big a mountain bike tire can I fit?

2006 Toyota Tacoma Dbl Cab TRD SR5 4x4

Bilstein 5100s @ 1.75 with 1.5 AAL, Satoshi Grill Mod with 2 Hella 500s behind the grill, LED dome and map lights, custom made (by me) 10" subwoofer box behind the dbl cab seat, DVD/iPod/Bluetooth/GPS/TV/USB/Stereo, Yakima rack, Shell, tinted front windows to match the factory backs. Backup cam in the tailgate handle mod.

I got an 06' Specialized hardrock pro disc that I want to put new tires on and would like to go bigger. Currently I have 26 x 2.2 on sun rims single track. I saw a really cool couple of tires that were 2.3 and 2.4. Anyone know if they will fit?

4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.

Thats pushing it a little bit. See of the shop will let you install them and see before buying them.

Thanks. Now is the rim or frame fork that limits the size. I don't know much about the rim specs will have to research.
