So today i went to An ATM on the other side of the world pretty much. Ran into a friend there and totally forgot about grabbing my card. Sooo now i gota wait to go grab the stupid fucking thing. Which makes me think. You can swipe cards at any store, why does an ATM hold the card whilest you take money out. Wouldnt there be less of a chance to forget the card if it did swipe instead of enter and wait?
Either way im with stupid <-----------

Don't ATM's just shred them if you leave it there. Then you just claim it stolen and they send a new one.

    It sucks it inside.
I sat in the parking lot and BS'ed with my friend for about 10 mins and no one else went in. I think the machine sucks it in pretty quickly.

Chase here in Socal just swipes as well. The ATM just keeps your card after 30 seconds onn those types though. You can probably just go to that bank and get it back.

Depends on the bank. Citi bank, just swipe your card. Wells Fargo, Union, B of A, Chase, it sucks in your card and holds it until your transaction is complete. If you wait too long to take it, it will suck it back in.
