Who's been to Iraq?

alright guys, just curious how many folks on TW have been to Iraq and when.
for me April 08-anticipated April 09

I went to the sandbox in feb of 2003, but was stationed in kuwait. Then i got stuck on an aircraft carrier in 2005. All I can say is- it is what it is. nothing more and nothing less.

 

Currently on my second deployment in Mosul, Iraq - FOB Diamondback. My first deployment was Oct 06 to Dec 07 in Baquba, Iraq - FOB Warhorse.

 

i never been, but to all that have , thanks for serving

 

2002-2003 Afghanistan first kandahar, then Bagrham.
2003-2004 Iraq.Out in the middle of the desert one hour from Camp Warhorse, LSA Annaconda.
march, 2004 GTFO!

I was in Iraq - during the ground war and stayed for another 16 months after - Feb 2003 - July 2004

Was also in the Gulf War - 9 months

 

I've had several relatives deployed and redeployed at different times throughout... two of which are still there. God bless you all, and thank you for your service.

'03 Salmon Pack East, cant remember the other place i was at. one of the first ones in when the call was made.

 

I have not, but have the "oppurtunity" to go to afghanistan in Jan of 2010
