So I bought my first lawn mower this past spring. With winter approaching I need some advice on winter storage.

When should I winterize the lawnmower? Am I okay with keeping it in the backyard shed for the winter? What all needs to happen to properly winterize it?

I've never owned a lawnmower before this one.

    It's a Troy-Bilt 21" Push mower, non self propeled

    Thanks guys

Put some stabelizer in the fuel, check or replace air filter if needed, change the oil and call it a winter. Did you get a manual with it?

If you got the riding lawn mower take the battery out for the winter and store it in your house.
