I heard something before about the two rain tracks on the roof leaking but never messed with them to see if they actually do leak.

I flooded that area with a hose today for about 5 mins. but could not get any water in the coin compartment. Maybe the air pressure of driving forces it in somehow?

there is usually a drain for the cowl area. I haven't looked at the Toyota, but every other car I have had would clog up with pine straw over time. Look to see if your rodent friend built a nest over the drain hole.

How much water was it? You said you were getting in your truck to head home. Condensation takes a while to build up, but with rainy weather, and temperature changes. You may not have a leak at all.

It wasn't much, maybe 3 tablespoons or so.
I just don't like the thought of water dripping near my fuses.
