Just to be clear, the MKI, II, or III will fit an 09-11, but not '12, yet.

You can still buy the II or III for your truck but like whippersnapper said, there is no X-1 for the kit. Who really cares though. Even without it there are other ecu's that will work it, or the TRD S/C.

URD has already been selling the Map-Ecu3 for the '09+ with a wire schematic. Buyer just has to wire it in. There are people already running them for their TRD systems.

So the MK series kits can be purchased for '05-'11 right now and you can even use the Map-Ecu3 that URD sells as well.

For other options for tuning, you can run the brand I am, ProEFI. AEM is also working on a plug n play kit for the 05+ Tacoma as well.

For the higher end of either of those systems, it will run you a pretty penny though.

Not to undermine the features of mine, just for one feature, but my Pro128 has the ability to use e85 or regular fuel at the same time with the addition of a sensor. Very handy for the track or what not. :D

Yes, it is a really good ecu, for those that need the ability to tune themselves at a very reasonable price.

Has a ton of features, and is extrememly versatile across many platforms of vehicles. For all of the year models leading up to the '09, URD has an extension harness available to wire the Map-Ecu3 into, so that it becomes a plug in play ecu.

I ran the Map-Ecu2 on my truck for a few years, and it was easy to tune and worked effortlessly.

Two of the tuning styles it has are MAF Intercept mode, and MAF Delete mode. The first tunes in closed loop and open loop, using the OEM MAF sensor. The second basically goes around it, for a speed density or MAP sensor only style of tuning.

Tors, I posted on x-runner about this but you might be able to help here... I have a supercharged 2010 DCSB 6sp 4x4 with URD 2.8" pulley, CAI, and Y-pip and CB exhaust. I am looking for a tuner that isnt crazy expensive that I can have a couple mild tunes done for mainly low/mid range power, milage, and regular/mid-grade fuel (just incase thats all the have in BFE). I am looking for info on the following 3:

    URD MAF Calibrator
    Map ECU 3(or 2)
    UNICHIP Plug and play

What do you reccomend for what I am looking for? I probably wont go much more extreme on my engine because I am at the limit where I will need to start changing injectors, fuel pump, etc.

    Thanks man.
