    Hey guys,
Just got my 2005 4 door tacoma that already has a 3" lift on it. I like the XD rockstars, but can't decide would look better, black or chrome. Anyone have any pictures or advice to base my decision on?

    thanks,
    jake

I really think chrome is over-done and looks silly unless you have a lowered street truck

Black is currently the hip thing.

Silver + chrome will look too 90s. Unfortunately, everyone's doing black these days....but hey, its whats "in". Chrome is definitely 90s but can still be pulled off from time to time maybe - but not on silver IMO. Go black....and with silver, both flat and gloss black will look good IMO. Other than that, choose a nice wheel design like my Hoss :)D)

    Too many mods to list
Black or gunmetal would look very nice IMO.

I hate chrome... unless you are 50+ years old and own a CJ5, you should not have chrome... For example my dad has a CJ5 and I want to fix it up, and I would definitely put some chrome on it. Not overboard though.

But yeah, on silver Taco, no.

DUDE BLACK IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO!
Especially on the rockstars, the chrome looks gay on those haha.
Black looks meaner when being driven almost as if you have a bunch of sidewall since it blends with the tire.

I guy at our school got some gunmetal rockstars on his truck, and they look amazing! If your going to get rockstars, you'll stand out more with those.
