Finding service records?????

is there a way to track down service records on a truck? maybe by a VIN? I just recently bought an 05 and it didn't come with service records. i had it inspected before i bought it and everything is perfect, just would like to know what the previous owner had serviced. any help would be appreciated.

 

the only way to find out service records is if its been done by the one and only dealer that the previous owner brought it to for work.

 

Yeah...I haven't ever found a good way to get service records- For all you know the previous owner did his own work.

Just do or get the most extensive service done next (like a 50K mile service)...Make sure everything is good to go and then start your own records.
