Did you completely sand off all the chrome? Just saying, because I took a chrome grill to do my satoshi and despite all my efforts with a lack of my buzz sander as well, its still chipping a little.

The rear bumper is universal metallic black Plasti-kote (sp?) paint. It matches really close. And I was going to do my grill with it to but ran out. So the grill is just gloss black right now. I am going to re-sand the grill and paint it with the Plasti-kote paint like the bumper. You can really tell it doesn't match once you get closer to it. And I messed up painting it so it need to be redone anyway.

I just sanded the chrome with 220 then primed it with high build primer. And the bumper I sanded that with 100 grit. 220 wouldn't hardly scratch it. We will see how it holds up.

Yes they are. This the my second set of them. My last set was about 6 years old and were still bright as hell. They went with my old truck. And one had a 1/2 of water in it and still worked just fine. I'm hoping this set lasts as long as my others.
