I'd love to see some photos with these tires. Thinking of going with the same set up on my 05.

I'll try to remember to snap a couple pics for you tomorrow. I ended up with Goodyear Silent Armor's in the 255/75/17. The Revo 2's were going to be back ordered for a bit and the Goodyear's were on sale for a great deal.
I really like the tire size. It fills the wheel wells nicely and they offer a great ride with just the right amount of aggressive tread for what I want them to do.

Hey thanks for the pics if you get the chance. I am looking at the Nitto Trail Grapplers in 255/75/17. I have the four leaf TSB in the rear, and I'm thinking of adding the Bilstein 5100s in the front to level it out and fit the rubber.

    Any other thoughts are appreciated.

Just got some 265/70/16 SA's for my truck the other day. The GY place had 40 off and mail-in 160 off if you use GY cc 6 mnth same as cash. Didn't need valve stems or tire disposal so that was another 26 off.

***Go sign up on treadlightly dot org. It costs 25 for a year but they have a 100$ rebate on GY SA's so that's another 75 net savings off the 4 tires!!!!

With all these rebates I'll end up paying 735 for mine but even less after I sell my Falkens for 50.00 and 2 smoked briskets to a guy I work with.

Well, I figure smoked briskets are worth 50 each so another 150 off will bring mine down to 585, lol..........

Not the best pics. I'll get some later showing a full side shot to give better perspective.

Looks good. Mine are about the same width/height, just 16s. IIRC the tread width on the 265/70/16s = 10.7". Much better than those skinny/heavy ass Falkens that were on the 08 when I traded in the 05 for it. Haven't gotten any new pics yet.

Yeah the 265's are 10.65" tread with. These 255's are 10" but a full 32" tall.

I had 275/65/18s on my 05 that were 32" and they were a bit too much for the 4cyl, with air conditioning, in bigger access cab, against the wind, up hills or any combination of those things, without regearing that is, lol........

Hey thanks for the pics. Looks like they fit pretty well. Two more questions...

    1) as far as lift goes, are you are just running the TSB rear and the toytecs at 1.75 in the front?

    2) Did you have to trim or make any other mods to fit them? Do they rub at all?

I am stoked. I'm planning on running the same rims, so everything should work out based on your rig. Thanks a ton! Oh, and do you have a part number for the Toytec coilovers? I think I'll go the same route and save the hassle.

This is what I have in the front; They're a little pricey, but the ride is fantastic. The coils are much heavier and the convenience of adjustability is nice if I should decide to go higher in the future. Initially I just had the TSB springs in the rear, but have since added a leaf as well. Just makes it nicer when towing my boat because the TSB spring pack is only marginally better than the stock factory.
I didn't do any trimming at all.I could have left my front mud flaps on, but I hated the long goofy looking things. I may consider at some point trimming them shorter and throwing them back on. We'll see.
I also have a set of 1.25" Spidertrax spacers that aren't on yet. I don't need them, but I do like the wider stance look, so will be throwing those on in the next day or so.
Overall, I think you'll be very happy with this size tire. My mileage has actually increased with the new front end alignment/tire combo. The alignment was done after the lift went in, but I think the guy at the tire shop did a better job than the previous shop. Everything feels tighter and smoother.

Thanks again. Those toytecs are definitely a little pricey! I swear I saw some 5100s somewhere for less than 200!

I am definitely goin with the 255/75 s at this point. Just gotta work out the front suspension. So do you have five leafs in the rear now? Like an add-a-leaf on top of the TSB?
