    If im not mistaken, Rain-X eats paint. It says it on the label I think. I try really hard never to get any on my paint

    I would only imagine anything like rainx which is designed to REPEL things would do nothing but prevent the wax from actually bonding to the paint and creating the protective layer that it is designed to make...

    That's if it doesn't completely strip the oils out of the paint to begin with.

    Rain-X has a car wash concentrate that has little wax beads in the soap if thats what your thinking of

    well with 4 cars,2 boats and a motorcycle in my driveway, im usually looking for gallons of soap..That puny bottle wouldnt last me a month. lol

    actually, i think the last jug of soap i bought was blue coral. Pretty damn awesome soap if you ask me.

    Blue coral makes so pretty darn good carpet shampoo if i may say so myself. It comes in a gallon too.

    I use Simple Green. industrial size!

    Yup..But it lasts for ever. I think i still have about 1/2 gallon left from last spring.

    And thats AFTER spreading around about 2 cups on my driveway to clean up my oil spill in my driveway:mad:

    no damage so far it works really well by itself with the brake dust, bugs, and road "stuff"

    haha i hear ya, the original simple green is pretty damaging to paint, cuz i used it once before and immediately regretted it

    however, I guess they do make a paint friendly version. never seen it before tho. I guess if it's cheap, then hell, might as well give it a shot.

    Yeah i believe its a pretty new product. I've used it on my mom Mercedes and the is no damage(swirls,scratches, etc.)

    and from what ive noticed the soap keeps the grime and sand and stuff on the bottom of the bucket.

    bought a bottle a while ago, but never used it. Just the other day got the time to sample, WOW very nice. I just want to see how long it will hold up, beadwise.
