I had my alignment done today to fix my caster and the tech told me after he finished that the tabs kept bending and they should be reinforced with a spot weld. Has anybody done this? Or know where exactly the spot welds should be? I'm guessing right behind the tab so it cant bend backwards and go flat, but wanted a second opinion.

    Anybody?

yes you want to weld the outside of the tab that keeps the eccentric bolt in place, so it dosent fold out. with stock arms if your careful you can weld them up without taking the arm out . but if you have aftermarket arms or longtravel you need to take the arms out so you dont damage the polyurethane bushings. you just have to make sure the weld fillet is wider than normal.
