Wondering if someone can help. I've seached to find most people say it's the master cylinder.

My issue is that I had that changed 3 months ago (new master), because my peddle stuck to the floor. Right after getting it from the shop the peddle would not fully come out, it would stick at the last 3/4inch or so but the clutch would engage/dissengage fine. Some times it would slowly come out, or I had to pull it out with my toe.

While in the shop for the new frame I mentioned this to the tech, he said he adjusted the peddle. All felt great again until 3 days ago the master cylinder went again. The dealership changed it out on warranty and said it was a faulty part.

The circle continues, the clutch now sticks at the last 3/4inch from fully coming out again. I called the dealer, the said that is odd and to bring it in. They said they found metalic substance in the resevoir when they first had a look.

Appologies for the lenght but does anyone here have an idea of what is going on?

Have they checked/changed the slave cylinder at all? It's "recommended" that you change the master and slave both at the same time, although it's not always necessary.

They haven't, they didn't seem to think there was an issue with it. It's not leaking or anything. May be good to try though. Thanks for the reply. Any other thoughts out there?
