i guess i spoke too soon. truck ran great. wheeled 150 miles on sunday no noises or wobbles. climbed up and over everything i asked it to(its a yota) but the deal was contingent on my mechanix inspection and they found that when its on the lift the front ds wheel is not free but is turning the shaft and causing the suspension to wobble up and down? everyones puzzled so worse case it may be front diff and axle? rack and pinion also appears to be leaking. since it was from a used lot and was majorly detailed to look great i was suspicious to start. so the dealer of course had me take it to thier guy and he says they all do that it is the fact the suspension is hanging unloaded on the lift and causing the axel on that side to pull against the cone clutch (something like that) and engage slightly? bottom line they wouldnt guarantee it or come down a grand to partially cover what my guy says will be over 3k worth of work and being very suspicious of used car lots i bailed. damn i thought this was the one! carfax showed i would be the 5th owner and she was sold to them at auction so that also was a red flag. any opinions as to this situation would be welcome. i hope i wasnt overly cautious on the perfect taco for me but something smelled.... well you know. thanks guys for your time:confused:
