Ok, searching has not been my friend. Bought the home link and am going to install this weekend. Need to remove the upper console to mount and tap into power. Any hints out there for removing the upper console on a 2011?

There is one screw in the eyeglass holder that you need to take out, then just just get your fingers underneath it on the windshield end and pull down. Just make sure to not lose any of the clips that hold it in. It takes a little force to pull it down.

And if those clips come completely off the console (as they likely will) and you can't figure out how they go back on, post up and we can help. I had that problem when I did the dome light mod. They went on different than I was expecting.

Got lucky and the clips stayed on just fine. Easy install. Nice to have the home link instead of multi remotes
