I held out until 50k on the rugged trails, probably coulda gotten a few more if I had worn them completely bald but they were 4 years old and i was sick of them. Amazing what a new set of tires can do for the look of a truck!

This is about my experience with them... went to get the tires rotated today, ~18,000 miles... and Discount Tire was trying to get me to replace them.

I wasn't ready yet, I know I want to go bigger... Wanted to see how big I could go without a lift. Looks like 265/75/16, that's disappointing.... but not surprising.

Well an update on my 2010 Rugged Trails since my June and Feb. posts here:

At 13,000 miles a rock made a hole in the middle of the tread, plugged it and then had it patched, 100 miles up the road. Right Rear

At 15,000 miles I saw a screw in the front right, had it patched (it went all the way through).

At 16,000 miles another rock put a hole in the tread, took two plugs to seal and then had it patched 20 miles down the road. Left Rear.

Now I know why you guys call them Rugged FAILS!!! Only one left that has no patch in it is the front left. The tires have 50% tread still, so about 30,000 miles tops, but I will replace them as soon as I can!!!

Just replaced the stock Dunlops at 55,500 miles. Probably should have done it sooner, but wanted to get as much out of them as I could. They were NOT great tires to begin with and 55k+ miles sure didn't help!

Now riding on Michelin LTX M/S2 265/70/16 all the way around and loving them!
