Couldn't exactly find the answer on here, I'm trying to find a new HID kit with a retrofit as well. My $60 HID kit crapped out on me and I'm now using bulbs that only put out enough light to keep the cops away, but it's very dangerous to drive. I'd prefer not to spend over $200. I found these on ebay but I;m not sure about them.

I was also wondering, what if I just bought another HID kit and removed the crappy fake projector lens from my headlight to make them a little brighter? I'm just really not sure to do, sorry if this post is confusing. I'm very tired right now...

what are you currently running, i'm confused as well :)

the retrofitsource.com should have what you need their line of morimoto gear is very high quality. i actually believe it to be superior to factory components.

I was running a 35w HID kit in these crappy headlights from ebay.

Now I'm running just stock H4 bulbs in the headlights because the HID kit crapped out. I would like to get a complete retrofit kit, but don't want to spend over $200. If this isn't possible, I'd just like to get a good HID kit this time around.

you can retrofit on a budget but your still going to be a bit over 200 like 25 to 300 but, if you did the work all your self it could be great :)

customlightz.com MINI H1's morimoto 3five ballast, morimoto bulbs, and there HD relay harness. oci butyl rubber and misc. stuff to complete.

mini H1's are awesome when modded properly just as good as the fx-r imo or so very close it's silly.

I really don't have that much to spend at the moment, so I think I'll just buy and HID kit and get a retrofit later down the road. This stuff confuses me with all the weird names! What kit would you go with for just The HID's for around $100?
