Since your in the PNW, check these out at LesSchwabs. Wild Country XTX (made by Cooper). Great A/T tread design, smooth and quiet, 50k mi. warranty. Have the Mountain Snowflake symbol so they are a legal snow tire. I drive from Bend to Eugene over the Santiam pass often during the winter and have not been dissapointed.IMG_20111026_000538.jpg

I went with the Michelin LTX/AT2's. I ordered off of tire rack and had them installed at Sears. FYI SEars will price match and beat it by 10%, even online prices.

black tube steps, side marker turn signals, 15% tint and window strip, EGR vent shades, fighter pilot/cockpit mod, console and glove box auto on LED, anytime fog light mod, 3000k HID fogs, bed mat wing nut mod, locking bed storage bin mod, smoked tail lights, plasti-dipped rims, blacked out emblems, black tail pipe, tail gate hose clamp, rear seat utility/dog shelf with rear center console access door.
Nice choice! How much was the install? One of my friends wants to mount some winter tires and I told him Sears was pretty reasonable but I am not 100% sure since it has been a while since I used them.

Toyo Open Country MT - 10 Ply. These wear like iron on our lighter trucks. 50K miles is not unheard of on our trucks. Looks are killer too.

I would recommend the toyo open country a/t's. they are very smooth, the quietest tire I have ever driven on, and they last really well. Plus you can get them from les schwab and have great warrantys. that way all your service on them is free and they do alignments and shocks and front end parts so they can keep an eye on everything for you so your tire investment will last as long as possible. btw I do work for les schwab lol.
