Hi All, I'm new to owning a Tacoma and new to TW. I've never owned a new car before and I'm going to pick up my new truck (2012 TRD Sport Access Cab) next week or so. I was wondering if anyone had a good "buyers checklist" to run off of to make sure things are good with the truck or if there are any known things to be sure of before signing everything and driving it off the lot.

    Thanks for any insight.:)

If you're buying new there shouldn't be any problems with it at all. If there is don't sign anything until it is fixed and how you want it.

I would suggest getting the 3m clear bra and having the dealer put it on for you before driving it off the lot. This has nothing to do with your truck performance, but will protect your paint before having the chance to mess it up.

    Welcome!

My truck already had undercarriage rust when it was sitting on the dealership's lot...definitely gonna thoroughly check the undercarriage the next time I get a new vehicle.
