Well howdy! I just found this site, and sure hope it'll be a valuable resource; it certainly seems like it will... lots of great information!

I picked up my truck in 2003. I had a groovy little Jeep Sahara, but I was becoming increasingly frustrated with it. No room to carry anything, it was noisy, it didn't do well on the highway, harsh ride... Worst, I was living in Omaha, and that winter we had a record snowfall of 27" in two days. By the end of the first day of snowfall with the high winds, I actually found more snow IN my Jeep than on it. That was the last straw.

I'd been eyeballing a T100 at the local Toyota dealer, and had decided I would pick it up. When I arrived there to do the deal, there sat a very recently traded '95 Tacoma LX extended cab 4x4 in Pearl Green. She came home with me that day.

The liberal salt on the roads destroyed the chrome rims that were put on by the previous owner in short order that winter, and I found an old beat-to-heck 4Runner with decent factory steel wheels. I swapped them out and wrapped them in new rubber. Then I had the bed and rockers panels sprayed with Reflex liner.

My Taco looks pretty good when it's all cleaned up, but I love it for the work truck it is. It's a little rough around the edges from scuffs, little dents/dings, and rock chips, but is SOLID where it counts and the interior is in great shape.

    I love my truck.
