I have disconnected the seatbelt chime wire. Does anyone know how to make the warning light go off?

You can turn off the seatbelt chime without cutting the wire.
I don't know about the light. I covered my light with black electrical tape.
You want the computer to know that you are in the seat and not wearing your seatbelt, as it affects how fast the airbags deploy in a crash, so you don't want to trick the system.

I have used the MOD of removing the chime that was posted. I did not cut the wire. So you are saying you took the cluster panel off and covered the light? Thanks for the reply.

Yes you could do that but most people just put it on the cover.
