    Hi,

I recently change my summer tires for winter tires. For both set I have toyota mags. The summer set is the original truck mags and the winter set is an other set I have bought. With the summer set I'm able to reset the tire inflation sensor but with winter set it is not possible. Is it possible the sensors in my winter wheels are not recognize by the truck.

    Thank you

Yes, pretty sure the dealer has to calibrate them to your truck.

You can by a tool off TireRack that allows you to reprogram for exactly your purpose. That is to maintain two sets of wheel/tires and swap the TPMS id's season to season. It is not cheap, but if you really want the dash light to go out for the season, the price of the tool is about twice the price most dealers will charge to reprogram them for you. So, in a year, after two switches, you've got your money back.
The much cheaper option is to ignore the light half the year, and the only slightly more expensive option is to place a small piece of black electrical tape over the light on your dash for half the year.

LOL, I did this when I had my Dodge Ram with the ABS light! Traded it in like that too, not sure they even noticed!

    None yet! It's new!
Black tape is the way.... you don't even notice it. I do it in the FJ and the Tacoma, since I switch wheels between the two, along with a third set.
