Tonite we held a Veteran's Day Vigil at the Crosses of Lafayette and Afghanistan War Memorial, a group of us gather on Veteran's Day and Memorial Day to honor all those in active service and vets, politics are meaningless, it's about all you folks out there, thank you so much for all you do.

There's a huge parade/festival going on in downtown Orlando on Orange Avenue (main drag downtown) with tons of veterans riding in old school military trucks, Humvees, etc...

Our apartment is right in the middle of it, so the girlfriend and I just walked outside on the street and watched for a little bit. You could see the sense of pride and appreciation on their faces as they were applauded. Very cool to see.
