I agree it was a great match and couldd have gon both ways but pac was way more successful in punching and landing marq was just not letting those punches go but when he did it was devistating

It was a great fight. But when it comes to a fight like this, like has already been stated... it comes down to the numbers.

And in response to the comment from earlier, Pacquiao had that look on his face after the fight because everyone was booing him. No one wants to deal with that.

Pacquiao didnt look or perform his greatest but he still won the fight. He continually pressed the action. Ya Marquez landed a few good counter punches but he backed away for most of the fight and seemed content not to trade when Manny came in close. Thats why Manny won. Pressing the action, better ring control, and better boxing technique. Nothing flashy. Mayweather cant beat Pacquiao. Manny is at his best when he has someone coming at him. Mayweather's too prideful to back away and fight smart. Manny will pick him apart from the inside and on the outside with that straight left

 

If they ever do fight, Mayweather wont press the action. He's gonna realize he cant trade with Pacman and eventually resort to the hit n' run tactic like pretty much most of his big fights. but if manny keeps him under constant pressure, he can probably pull off a KO or a decision.

 

I think it was a pretty close fight
