    Bump for more info...has anyone had problems pulling with a Warn M8000? Ever not have enough power?

    Replace the rollers on whatever roller fairlead you get with the delrin ones, drill the holes in the fairlead where they need to be and run with it.

    i was more or less looking for a hawse style fairlead but, i have since let that idea go after some further research and i plan on keeping the m8000 as is until i have a problem with it. then when and if i have probs with the stel cable i'm going to replace it with a viking and slee off road rope and fairlead set-up.

    That was only like 1 or 2 examples.

    I still plan on getting an xrc8. One horror story isnt gonna scare me. Ive seen the winch perform multiple times in person and it works. Ill seal up the solenoid and have a perfectly working winch for less than half of a warn. Sounds good to me....

    Oh i've seen them work in person also, and ive heard more horror stories about the XRC. But for the price of the XRC, the Superwinch is pretty close. Just wondering if anyone has personal experience with it.
