LS1-T56 swap, Z06 ported heads, cam, Titanium valves, Kevlar clutch. Now building a forged stroker (383) and all the ponies! Old setup was rod-knockin on heaven's door...
I have been working on a BBK for the 1st gen 5 lug kit for many moons, I have finalized all measurements and details for it to happen. I sent off the custom parts for a bid on them (rotor hats and caliper adapters).

The kit will use 12.2" Wilwood rotors and Dynalite 4 piston forged calipers. I have had this kit on my truck for almost a year now with not a single issue.

The truck stops far better than stock and I havent had any fade to speak of although I am not autocrossing, my truck has a V8 and I drive it like it was meant to be if you catch my drift.

I am going to sell the rotor hats, caliper adapters, brake lines, and all high grade hardware necesary to install. The custom parts will be made from either 6061 or 7076 depending on production costs, also looking into pricing for hard anodizing as well.

The prototype is going to be beefy and will hold up to abuse, I should have a price on my adapter kit very soon and then we will have a total cost for the upgrade.

Some of you may wonder about the rear brakes and the bias between the two compared to stock, only thing you need to do is to adjust the rear prop rod to make it think the rear is loaded so they will be at full pressure and the balance will be fine. I love the brakes and forget they are there until I drive my wifes car, lol...

IMO this is a necessary upgrade for any autocrossers and or turbo guys, or just a really nice upgrade from stock if you are an aggressive driver..

More info as I get it fellas!
