Hybrid audio ?

I'm looking to upgrade my door speakers to something better. I have 2 sets of powerbass 3xl components and have had them for 4 months now and I'm disappointed in them. I'm looking at purchasing the hybrid audio clarus c61-2 components for the front and some others for the rear. I know that it will have to upgrade the amp after I get them and not sure what would best suit the HATs. can someone come in with any experience in dealing with these? Looking to purchase after the first of the year.

 

Pretty much any amp will work. For relatively efficient component speakers I usually suggest an amp that will make 50-75RMS per channel. Just make sure the amp makes that power at the impedance of those speakers (haven't looked at the specs but I'm guessing they're 4ohm)

 

Yup, 4ohm. Specs say 120w rms and 250w peak. I have the step below the Clarus series and I think they are awesome. Properly tuned you will be blown away!

 

Im running an older kenwood exelon 4x800 i think it is around 75rms per channel at 4ohm but im not sure. I was thinking of getting rf power series 4ch but its all up in the air. I just want the best sound quality i can get.
