I'm going to try to make it down to Pearl tomorrow.

Been to the memorials many times; last time was for a friend's reenlistment a few months ago, but I've never been there for one of anniversaries.

Yeah its a real must see to anyone who visits Hawaii, even though i live here i have been to Pearl harbor MANY times and took my kids there many times also, explained to them the best i could why this place holds history. Even though i been there a lot every time gives you goose bumps. Was so excited when they said the USS Missouri would be forever "stationed" here, i was there on the 1st opening day to the public, was a pretty crazy feeling being on the mighty MO and seeing those HUGE ass 16 inchers!!!

I was there in 2001 to visit relatives that live on Oahu. It is an incredible sight to see the Arizona memorial and to tour the mighty USS MO.
