Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
    Wait for the Browning Gold.
They are excellent shotguns and you already know it fits.
Too many people recommend guns with no regard for intended purpose or fit.
I have had 870's and 11-87 for years and I bought a Browning Silver Hunter just based on fit...never killed more birds on the first shot before.

    Did I mention it's a 20ga?.... and I've always thought big roosters needed a 12ga.
Browning will have better resale down the road, too.
After hunting season, you'll see deals come available.

I didn't take it that way, don't sweat it. You need to get what you want, not what I want you to get. I really meant it when I said good luck with your gun shopping, I hope you get a great shotty.

A 20 gauge semiautomatic is my next gun purchase. I dont need a 1k shotgun. A $400 Mossberg is most likely what I'm going to get. I held the one my uncle got and loved the way it felt.

if you want cheap with decent quality then go with the h&r excel auto. Walmart has them for around $340 out the door. Ive used mine through duck seasons and a LOT of skeet shooting. There has been over 2000 rounds through my gun with not a single malfunction. I even dropped it completely under water and poured water out the end and still keep shooting without any malfunctions. My friend has had his longer than mine and his has been a great gun also. H&R is made by Marlin and owned by remington

my first duck season i used a mossberg 835 and i HATED it. It would never eject the shell and it was a pump!
