2007 2wheel drive brake question

I have a 2007 Tacoma 2 wheel drive. I was wondering if the front brake pads are the same as a 2006 set up. I am going to have to change them. I am going to attempt to do it myself. I found a utube video on the 2006, but not 2007. Do I need to remove the caliper.
I apologize if this has been previously addressed and I missed it.
Any help or advice will be appreciated.

I'm pretty sure you have to remove the caliper. Not too difficult. Usually just 2 bolts. Use some PB blaster on them to make them easier to remove. Replace the pads, compress the cylinder on the caliper (make sure reservoir doesn't overflow), then put the caliper back on, and then bleed the brakes.

 

You shouldn't need to bleed the brakes if you don't open the brake system. I.e. open the bleeder or replace a caliper or something like that.

 

Correct. If I'm changing pads I'll usually just bleed them anyways to make sure there isn't any air in the lines.
