2012 rear locker question

    Thanks for a good few answers to the original question....I tried engaged my rear locker on my 2012 today numerious times and had the same problem. Tomorrow I'll try turning the wheel and roll a little. Seriously guys, thanks for the advice to a a guy who has his first toyota.

    So today I gave your advice a try and sure enough the locker engaged with no problem. I was abe to engage and disengage it a number of times with no problem.....thanks guys.

    never ending..
    the locker has its uses andso does A-TRAC they are both good for certain things too.... end of story.. the locker doesnt have any issues just turn wheel a little if it doesnt engage right away it will work i promise.

    No, well yeah. The ATRAC / locker debates are silly. But the point I take away from this and experienced myself, was that the locker can be very stubborn, and shouldn't be left on all the time. The associated smaller ring gear that goes with it, and resulting durability ramifications are troubling as well.
    I shall move along now......
