I couldn't figure out why those connectors are on there either. You can't leave them disconnected though, they are your power and ignition lines. I cut those funky ends off and spliced them into my respective red and yellow wires coming out of my wiring harness from the truck.

Thanks Mack... I didn't want to cut them off before i realized their true use... but it sounds to me like their true use is to screw with your head and make you wonder if maybe you should take it to a shop and have someone else install it... well that sure as poop ain't gonna happen! I would rather see my truck engulfed in a class Charlie fire because i tried to install a stereo myself before i pay an audio shop rediculous amounts of money to do an otherwise simple job.

I had chose this over other units because I am HUGE fan of integrated Sirius radio, this displays allll the information i wanted and even when you have the sirius on and running, you can have the navi on at the same time!

    bluetooth is good.

    ipod integration sick

    overall great unit.

    ask more questions!

I just had this unit installed with BT. It is by far one of the most intuitive, easy to use HU's I've ever messed with.
That being said, the SatNav is JUNK! I was trying to see how long it would get to work and this stupid thing took me off the road I was on (county highway) onto 3 back roads, and then back onto the main road about 5 miles down the road. I didn't go that way. Point being, WTF? It recognized the main road, but still took me off it. Any suggestions? I just got it, so it *should* be updated.

Anyone ever figure out how to stream music over bluetooth on this thing? I have it and cant get my HTC Rezound to stream music over bluetooth. the phone itself works just fine over stereo, just no music.
