well im not really making a swap because i already have 16s but i need something that sticks out alot more with the 255/85s i have on, they almost touch the UCAs. So i know 3.625 BS will push them out which will probably be enough but is the higher negative offset push them out more? I really like those rims btw

    ^^ This.

Body lifts suck, and look stupid, IMO. a 3" lift you should be able to clear the 33's just fine. You might need to pound down the fender seams, though. Much better (and more free!) than a body lift. Body lift do NOTHING except make the CG higher. There are NO performance increases, only minuses.

The only reason you'd "need" a 3" body lift is if you didn't already install a 3" suspension lift.... A Taco on a 6" total lift rarely looks good, and generally doesn't wheel very good (since the center of gravity is so much higher).
