thanks! i wouldnt mind a 4runner, but i need sane miles! gah!

my mechanic actually said "you need to go buy something else, this isnt worth fixing"

if a mechanic says "it wouldnt be right to take any more of your money on this."

    there's a problem!

Your mechanic sounds like an honest guy, take whatever you want to buy to him to check for sure! Hope you find a good low mileage toy to your liking!

Get a 2004 Imreza WRX STI.

And bugger your fat friends. They can cram their asses in.

Moochers. That's why I got an Access Cab. So I wouldn't be stuck with people begging for rides. You want a ride? Hop in the back with the fucking shovel and work gear.

And I'm 6'1" and I have no trouble fitting in my truck. Front or back.

Yeah, you're right. I thought I saw one on Auto Trader for 15 but I was mistaken.

There's a white one for sale near me. I kinda want it.

you may find an '01 doublecab in a dealership that needs to move it out quickly-especially a 4 banger. Check dealers. They're hurting for sales right now:)

I can actually fit in the back of my '08 AC just fine... about about 5'9 and I ain't that thin either. It's not comfy, but it works...

Not to push you off toyota... but I've been looking at some sweet Subie Impreza WRX's (not STI, honestly not worth the hike in price anyway, I'd rather build it MY way :D). You can find some great 06's and less for down under 10k with around 60-70k. Subie's just about as reliable if not matched to toyota, and you got AWD so you're set unless you need serious 4x4 territory. In which case you could even check out the Outback's which is just a 4x4 height ugly version of the impreza anyway. Only issue to look out for down the road is possible turbo repairs, which usually aren't that cheap but if you do most of the work yourself, should be under 2 bills easy for a repair kit and taking it to a shop for a re-bal. Good luck in your hunting, remember craigslist, cars.com, and autotrader.com are your friend :D

    :(

Actually it's because I wanted an OR and they don't come in DC up here in Moose land. And I think it looks better AC style. And I wanted a full bed. And DC with a full bed looks odd.

And I have no friends...no real ones anyways. :(

The good thing about Imprezas is that you can put an STI blower on after the fact with no major modifications. Sadly they get their parts jacked a lot based on that. Sexy sexy cars though. There's 4 STI's kicking around where I live. (And including my truck 4 silver Tacos)
