My wife refuses to put her front plate on her SUV. When we were married, we parked at LAX and went to Hawaii for our honeymoon. Her SUV still had all of the "just married" window chalk and ribbons and such all over it. When we came back, there was the parking ticket on the windshield for no front plate. My anger at that incident is probably the main reason why I will likely not write that citation to anyone.

If anyone who works there notices it or if there is the check lanes often used these days by police, you will get a ticket and be denied entrance.
They film your front and rear plates in many locations through out the airport.
My bro in law works for TSA there at LAX.

I would run one plate if I could get away with it. Not in mass. the old white and green plates they only gave u one that was before 1995 I think.

In Nevada if the factory didnt supply a front mount for a license plate its not required....if you have one then its required by law...at least to my knowledge from an officer

Nevada only requires it if the manufacturer put the holder there from the factory I never run one then 3 months ago I get pulled over by some asshole trooper for not having my head lights on at 7 am because it looked like it was going to rain and after he yelled and I mean YLLED at my he told me if he catches me with out my front plate on again he was going to give me a 200 roller ticket for it and I put it on for that reason and sure as shit the next morning he was waiting for me at the freeway entrance

Massachusetts requires front plate, but rarely enforced by PD's. Only issue comes Inspection time. Most state inspection stations require it at least installed on for test, then remove as soon as you leave.

that is not true at all. NY does not care if you drive a ferrari or a kia. you need both front and rear plates on cars and commercial vehicles.

the "only" exceptions are for motorcycles and trailers. those require only one plate.

i got tagged twice in one day in nyc for not having one on the front of my c5 corvette. i thought (and still think) corvettes look dumb with front plates. i got stopped by a cop going into the queens midtown tunnel, showed him i actually had the plate, but he didn't care. that was the first ticket. second one was parked on the street later that same day. still never put the plate on. never took the vette back into nyc, though.
