Nice find Aaron. Are you using the 12V plug in or did you wire it up to your battery?

I modified it to wire up to my battery and I installed my own on/off and momentary switches next to my shifter, right by my switches for my rear ambers.

These will not be as bright as your rigid industry lights, but they have built in strobe and are pretty blinding at close distances, as Take Down lights are designed to be. I have driven down an unlit highway for a few miles with only these on and they light up the road OK, enough for me to drive down, but I would not substitute these for headlights or off road lights. They are merely a supplement.

Was it easy to retain the strobing capability when wiring it up? I've been looking for a set of strobe lights like these for a while. These seem like a good deal.

The take downs on top of patrol vehicles are pretty damn bright, brighter than the high beams. I'm sure our light bars cost a lot more than these though.

These takedowns arent as bright as my high beams, but then again im running 50W 4300K HID Projector head lights, so they've got some serious competition! lol

The strobe capability is built into the light. The only thing I had to mod there was the toggle for the different patterns.

It is a momentary switch on the side of the light that, when hit, switches the pattern. It is essentially two wires that make contact when the button is pressed.

I relocated the two wires into a momentary rocker switch inside the cab so when I hit that switch, it makes contact between the two wires.
