I just installed an elastic, pocketed cargo net over the back seats? in my '09.

This net was from a traded-in Lexus LS and is about 30" wide. They are typically installed across the rearmost portion of the trunk to keep grocery bags upright while moving. They are common in many vehicles now days.

I secured the upper corner anchor loops to the outboard headrest tubes with carabiners allowing easy removal. When loaded the bottom of the net rests on the seats, leaving the floorboard available for heavier stuff.

I have a longer one next to the tailgate under the Undercover tonneau. It's also fastened with carabiners for quick disconnect, like when carrying golf clubs back there.

Tell her you want it for Christmas.

I previously had it in an S10 with a Ranch topper...worked well there too.

I just use the cheapo Harbor Freight carabiners for these apps. They're about $5 for a dozen anodized different colors and sizes. If I want to do something serious, like lynch the wife's cat, I'd use the good ones from REI.
