Sad thing is if you decided to remove the paint or it peels off, you will be left with a blurry lens where you wet sanded it. If you had done lids, you could remove them and reinstall them without any damage to your lens.

The white does look good, but it is one of the easier colors to match. When you get into tri colors it aint simple. The Barcelona red, pyrite, ect are hard to match.
