    Hi,

    I plan to buy a new V6 Access Cab 4x2 in the near future. I've come to TacomaWorld for research and advice on options. I plan to use it as a street truck and want the ability to tow or make a run to the home improvement store. I do not plan to use it off road.

    I like a vehicle to handle well, but I'm not ready for a Xrunner. I like the subtle tuner look and a clean debadged vehicle with no graphics, non-functioning hood scoops or huge spoilers.

    I'll be asking (hopefully in the right places) questions about what is really in the various packages as the dealer and the brochures are not specific. I'll also ask about add-on parts, both factory and after market. Toyota has a deep parts catalog, and I know folks swap parts and add parts from other years and models.

    I'll check the various sections and do some searches. I do want to tow now and then; the XRunner doesn't have the tow package as I recall and the rated load capacity is lower.
