Well i took my truck in for accelerator recall or whatever its called lol, so i ask the service tech about lookin at my u joints to so 45 min later he comes back and tells me i will need a rear u joint sometime so i said ok and asked what the est cost would be and he said $302.00!!!

If the u joints are not clanging when you first pull out what makes you think they are bad?
Get under the truck and twist the drive shaft with your hands. If there isnt any play chances are your u joint is fine.
