Fucking tell me about it! What's worse is that we sell the U.S. the sweet crude that in turn gets refined by y'all and sold back to us at a premuim. Then, to top it off your President Yaris, claims CDN oil is dirty, while he propagates a war in Iraq. Our oils might have sand i it, theirs has blood in it!

I say fuck y'all, we'll sell it to China! They pay cash, you pay with AMEX!

Take a moment and breath ... but unfortunately I know what you mean.

Wish I knew how to fix it, but I only get frustrated and vent all over some unexpecting sole! Eh?? ;)

No, not really. I've made more than a few bux welding pipe for U.S. companies in Canada. It feeds my family, pays my Canadian taxes. My Dad's side of the family hails from Detroit, My Mother, England. We're all very much the same. I just like ripping on the U.S. The funny part is you guys are you're own worst critic, you just don't know it. Truth be told, we'd be fucked without you guys. But what you may not know is it goes both ways.

I know. Without getting into it all .... very true!

One comment ... I think you might be getting something for your taxes. I'm not sure what I'm getting for mine; or maybe I should make that WHO is getting them. ;)

Without getting into it, you'd be surprised. I make a good living, my wife is unemployed as a teacher, my aging parents wait months for medical. Our socialist system is rapidly failing...

Maybe not the topic for a Tacoma forum, wanna stop by for a beer sometime?

There's just not a perfect equation ... guess we play the hand we're dealt, fight to get better cards when we can ... and deal with it. Like the old saying, "grass is always greener on the other side ... until you get there."

    Thanks for the exchange!

OK, serious. My 62 year old father has been in acute care for almost 2 months, receiving some of the best care available in the country. I'd be mortgaging my house if I were south of the border right know to pay what is surely hundreds of thousands for his hospital tab. I have union supplemental, for my wife and kids, but man, I'd be so fucked if it weren't for universal healthcare.

I wish we had the universal healthcare....I pay over $6K a year for insurance & never use it. But having it ready is a must for me....with 4 kids.
