Thanks everyone for all the info. I have a lot of reading to do and comprehend before pulling the trigger on a lift kit. All of you have great info and builds. It will come down to how much I want to spend and how much time I want to spend working on it. Hopefully when I am done in the next couple of weeks I will post some pics.
Thanks again. Off to the suspension section of TW.com

it took me about 5 months before i knew what kit i wanted. i originally wanted the toytec ULK but realized that i was going to get rid of it and spend it on a system more oriented towards the stuff i do

Thanks Brian, good advice. I will take some time and figure this out.

Front brush bar, 4" side nerf bars, Bak Bakflip G2 bed cover, tail light cages, 3" Old Man Emu full suspention with 885 front and rear Dakar leaf springs, 3 degree rear axle shims, 8" Sound Ordinance powered subwoofer, Light Racing UCA, DeeZee bed mat
I took shopping for a suspention a step further than just getting eveyones opinions here on Tacoma World. I called the different suspention manufactures and spoke to the design engineers and found the Old Man Emu guys where the most helpful. They made a lot of good points and mentioned things all the other guys left out in trying to sell you their stuff. I purchased the Whole OME setup with the Dakar rear springs which is an expensive upgrade on all the competitors Add a leaf rear systems for $1,060.00 at AutoAnything.com which has a $30.00 off cupone on Tacoma World web site for $1,030.00 and free shipping. This also eliminates the hassle of the TSB rear spring problems Toyota is having and the rear lift is done right instead of cheeting with a harsh add a leaf or blocks.
