Haha! I was thinking the same thing! But seriously I really don't care much for the night itself. I was at a huge party last year and at midnight it hit me I just about the only single person there, that was awkward

I think of New Years Eve as "amatuer night."

It's one of those holidays that brings out the "stupid" in people, I have no interest in gong anywhere.

I completely agree. I never do much for NYE. I don't see it as a reason to get ridiculously drunk and act stupid. This year I'm working and I don't care at all.

I don't can't anymore myself. Don't really care to get plastered anymore. I didn't go out at all last year and as of now don't have any plans for this NYE. Maybe im just becoming boring lol.

i hate new years along with christmas and valentines day. here are my reasons in a well thought out and perfectly logical list
    New Years
-have to spend time with people i really don't want to because whatever girl i am with at the time thinks it will be fun
-i have to act like im having fun to appease the women folk
-i would rather sit around with buddies and drink beer than go to a party
-it is always too damn loud

    Christmas
-everyone becomes grinchy because of the stress
    -the music is unbelievably annoying
-every store has somebody standing outside asking for money. if i gave money to all of them i would have none left. its hard enough as is at this point in my life
-everyone seems to become fakingly loving
-the cheer is excessive and can drive a man insane
-the family gets mad because I would rather go huntin than bake cookies or sing christmas carols
-having to talk to all the people on the phone that i only talk to this one time a year and really don't care to talk to at all

    valentines day
-required to buy gifts or the females get mad
-pretty much everything else i already said

I hate it because it means about 8-9 months until college football. :(

I don't get the big deal with all the partying and such. Instead of looking forward to a new year it seems depressing when on tv all they show is looking back on the year.
