Studded tires

Ok i found a killer deal i think on a set of Goodyear Dura Tracs they were only used 1 season 265/75/17 for $400 . only poroblem is they are studded . Studs are fine right now but Can you take the studs out ? i have never had studded tires

 

yes you can remove them

 

Yup you can remove them with a bit of elbow grease and a tool too pluck them out. I did this one time for my dad when I was younger. It was fun

 

Small screw driver and needle nose pliers is what I've used in the past. A little WD40 helps too.

 

That's a great price too! At worst the process takes maybe 20 mins a tire. You'll get quicker as you go along.

 

Duratracs are awesome. Leave the studs in and get a second set of rims for winter use.

I want that setup pretty dang bad.
